Jetset Skiwear 2

Jetset Skiwear 2
So you are heading north in the winters ready for a fantastic skiing experience. But have you got your skiwear in place yet? Remember the right clothes can make or break you’re the pleasures of skiing. Here’s more information on jetset skiwear:

  • Dress in layers: The first rule for dressing up for a skiing expedition is to dress in layers. You will be out in the snow, and more than looking good you need to be warm and comfortable. Have layered clothing on, that will trap more air and keep you warmer than one single piece of outfit. The first layer needs to be that of breathable underwear that soak up perspiration. The next layer should be an insulating layer that keeps you warm and comfortable. You may choose a vest or sweatshirts, or a sweater as this layer. A layer of fleece or oft shell will keep you warm on very cold or windy days. But this layer can be omitted on days that are not very cold. The outer and the most important layer will be your ski jacket and pants made of insulated or shell materials that will guard you against the snow and wind and keep you completely at ease.

  • Accessorize: Invest in a good pair of ski goggles that will protect your eyes from the sun and snow. You will need gloves for your hands and a good helmet because most heat is lost fro your head during skiing. Buy a good pair of ski boots while you are at it. Remember ski boots are supposed to fit snugly so try them on with the socks that you intend to wear when you ski. Shop for boots towards the afternoon when your feet ten to swell a bit and ask for guidance from trained boot-fitters for the most perfect fit. As for socks pick something with padding around the shin or the foot or something with a mesh in the shin to soak out moisture. Some socks come with a compression design to reduce fatigue and enhance blood flow in the legs.

  • Choose from a wide spectrum of colors: Skiwear is available in various colors and the most popular are neutral colors or black. However you can get experimental for the truly exciting jet-set skiing experience. Graphites are always in the vogue but you could choose from a vast array of brighter colors, even shades of pink and citrus only to add that extra bit to your skiwear.

When you get your skiwear make sure you buy quality stuff. You will need this everyday of your skiing holiday and therefore broken zippers or torn seams may add to huge inconvenience. A jet-set skiwear not only looks great and feels great to wear; it will also go a long way in protecting you from biting cold on the slopes. Choose wisely.
