How To Live Like The Jet Set Do

How To Live Like The Jet Set Do

Think about jetting to Paris for dinner and Capri for the weekend?  Want to spend a week in Dubai?  The jet set love to travel and love to spend money.  They are almost never at home.  When they are in town they are usually attending special charity events and having lavish dinners with their wealthy friends.  What do they have that you don’t?  Here is a list of the top five things that jetsetters spend their money on.

Vacation Home – While most of us “regular Joes” are busy making our next mortgage payment, the jet set group are jetting off to their fabulous vacation home.  Don’t think of it like a cabin, these vacation homes are luxurious affairs with more bedrooms and bathrooms than your regular home.  Fully appointed, these homes are a vacation retreat for when they want to get away for awhile.  Many people only spend a total of several weeks a year at their vacation home while they are paying thousands for upkeep.

Luxury Car – The jet set won’t bat an eye at a price tag over a hundred thousand for their primary wheels.  They love luxury and the more obscure the better.  They prefer to drive something the working class person has never seen.  Yet, these people often prefer to be chauffeured around town and may rarely even take their expensive autos out for a spin.  Of course, they also rent an equally fabulous car when they are out of town.

Yacht – What better way to spend an afternoon and evening than aboard your own private yacht?  The larger the better, most yachts are fully equipped with sleeping quarters, kitchens and trendy entertainment areas.  For some sun and relaxation spend time on the deck soaking in some rays.  The yacht has a staff to attend to every personal need while on board. A personal chef aboard is part of the standard crew and will provide an extravagant and elegant dinner served on deck for sunset.

Designer Clothing – Attending fancy parties and traveling around the world requires a huge wardrobe.  Huge walk-in closets are filled with rows of designer clothes, shoes and handbags.  When it’s out of season it usually won’t see the light of day again. The next season starts again with the most trendy and fashionable clothes around.  They also have personal designers who supply many clothes to them and design items specifically for them to wear to special functions.

Spa Treatments – The jet set love to be pampered.  A day at the spa is the perfect way to relieve the stress of being rich.  Traveling the world can give your skin wrinkles so it needs a facial. The spa is a great way to relax because you are assured of being treated like royalty and pampered like crazy. If a day isn’t enough they may jet over to spend a weekend getaway at a spa retreat.  Here they relax and enjoy a full weekend of massages, herbal treatments and spa meals in a luxury setting.
